Meet Our Visionary
The Heart Behind WORSHIP MATTERS EXPERIENCE
Charles Avery is an American gospel and inspirational artist, known for his powerful vocals and his message: "Worship matters!" A singer, songwriter, producer, and BMI composer, Charles aims to engage his audience in worship through his music.
Born on December 11, 1989, in Jacksonville, Florida, Charles grew up with a Christian background and began singing in school choruses from elementary through high school. He later attended Edward Waters College (now University), where he joined the renowned EWC Choir and sang behind notable artists like Dwayne Woods, Dottie Peoples, and Al Jarreau. He also formed a gospel group and toured churches in Florida and nearby areas.
